What’s the Story?
Born out of a desire to simplify what appears to be simple task, yet on many occasions is far from it.
Hanging pictures, clocks, shelves or any item can be a nightmare of measuring tapes, levels, holes in the walls trying to line things up again and again and getting things square – only to end up with your pictures still crooked and out of line.
With doty, you won’t have to work hard at all and still end up with nicely spaced and level artwork.
It’s as simple as attaching your pointer to the hook, lining up your artwork and click you’ve got your hole position… Its as simple as that!
It sounds so simple hanging something on a wall, in reality it’s far from it!
There must be an easier way right?
Following weeks of research on social media and various video platforms, reading and watching tips and tricks, exploring various products already on the market we quickly realised that whilst some had their merits, none were a true solution. This both demonstrated that there is a huge amount of frustration out there and that there isn’t a truly practical solution available.
The effort of gathering a tape measure, spirit level, pencil, sticky tape or lengths of string to figure out centre points and pitch distances is now a thing of the past…
Function, Colour & Coolness
Whilst doty takes the stress out of marking walls and helping you create an amazing equally spaced collage it also looks pretty cool right?
Tools and DIY aids don’t have to just come in shades of black and grey, so we asked ourselves: why can’t they be colourful?
Thats why doty is more playful, more tactile, and just, well, better all round.
